And just like that, we said goodbye to another year… 2016 was amazing in every way!! It saw us shooting weddings up and down the country, and throughout Cornwall and Devon.
Being a part of one of the biggest days of couples’ lives defies any explanation of the enormity of the privilege we are given. It’s an amazing feeling, one that gives me butterflies every morning in the car on the way to the wedding, one that sees me shed tears when dads see their daughters for the first time, or listening to the speeches – I can’t help it, I’m a real softie.
It’s an amazing journey, and I am so lucky and grateful to be able to share it with my hubby – we love working together and supporting each other. It seems like only yesterday I was putting together a selection of my favourite wedding photos of 2015, and equally It’s been such a hard task choosing our favourite images of 2016, so this year there are two blog posts. Check out Keith’s favourite wedding photos of 2016. These are by no means, the best photos we have ever taken, they are just our personal favourites for different reasons.
2016 also saw me winning a Fearless Award. I never enter awards, I always say It’s something I should do, but never really get round to it. Last year I did it on a whim, not expecting anything, and was hugely honoured to have won a Fearless Award, one of the most respected awards for wedding photographers around the world, and incredibly hard to get.
Of course, none of this would happen without all the wonderful couples who put their trust into us, and took us along on their journey – we can’t thank you enough!! Equally looking forward to meeting all new couples in 2017 – so excited!!
