Some are calm. Some are anything but. Most sit somewhere in between.
As a Cornwall wedding photographer, I’m not interested in staging your day into something it’s not. I’m here for the blink-and-you-miss-it moments, the slightly messy, imperfect, real parts of the day. The kind of images that take you straight back – not just to how it looked, but how it felt.
There’s usually a lot going on at once. The obvious moments people expect to remember. The quieter ones happening just out of view. And the in-between bits that don’t announce themselves, but often end up saying the most.
That’s the part that tends to stay. Not the polished version of the day, but the fragments of it – the movement, the reactions, the moments that happen without being planned. And every now and then, something happens that reminds you why you keep paying attention in the first place. Not because it’s perfect, but because it isn’t.
So this isn’t a “Best of” in the polished, Pinterest-perfect sense.
It’s a collection of moments that mattered for different reasons – the loud ones, the quiet ones, and the ones that say everything without trying too hard.
