Ella and Jules’s wedding at Anran in Devon was one of my favourite weddings last year!! Choosing photos for the blog has brought back so many lovely memories; I think Keith and I must’ve had a grin on our faces all day long, it was so much fun from start to finish, well into the dancing!! Ella and Jules made our job so easy – they are just the loveliest, easy going couple who don’t take themselves too seriously, and love life!
It was my second time as Anran wedding photographer, and this luxury wedding venue in the heart of Devon, provided the perfect setting once again. Ella and Jules had a humanist ceremony outside, with cocktails in the courtyard, and the reception and wedding breakfast took place in the glasshouse. It is the most perfect wedding venue, and can’t wait to go back again later this year.
Here are some lovely words from Ella and Jules: “We really mean it when we say we think the photos are such a fitting tribute to the day we remember. We love that we’re smiling and laughing in almost every shot, and that’s the happiness we felt on the day, which you both captured amazingly. Also they’re very flattering too, which is nice! We can’t wait to share them with people, including children one day if we’re lucky, and the generations after that.
One thing that really stood out to us is the way that all our closest family and friends have been captured by you both. We don’t know how you knew who to look for? You are both so talented and such professional people, that it was a pleasure to have you with us on the day. You were both fun without losing focus and we really appreciate all the effort you went to, to get us amazing pictures. Basically we couldn’t be happier, and we hope you are both really proud of your work. We will be recommending you both without hesitation to all!!!!”
